Get Well Wishes

Good morning ladies! Us teachers have to go back to school today so from now on you can count on me getting about half the stamping done that I did over the summer! It's a bummer, I know, but it's life! Haha! I love my job so I really can't complain! Anyway, the elementary kids don't come back for another week so hopefully I still have some time off during this last week. My room is almost completely ready. All I have left to do is finish up some curriculum stuff and get my parent information packets/open house packets ready. Oh...and I suppose I should start planning! Haha! Today will be full of meetings though so I don't plan on getting much of that finished.

Ok, so on to the card. If you haven't noticed I have been in the Stampin' Up! mood lately! For some reason I just felt bad ordering new stamps without using my old ones so I pulled them all out! This is one that I really love! I love this set because of how versatile it is. When I mounted the stamps I cut the sentiment apart from the image so that I could mix and match them if I wanted to. It also allows me to stamp the sentiment wherever I desire. I really like that aspect. So I decided to use my Get Well Wishes stamp from this set just because I think this image is gorgeous. I colored in the flowers and the vase using my blender pen and ink pads. I used the colors Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Regal Rose, and Kiwi Kiss on this card along with some Chocolate chip accents! I wanted to use my new scallop edge punch again so I punched the front of the card and then decided a piece of chocolate chip underneath it would look fantastic. I really love the overall look of this card! I even punched out some flowers and glued them to the inside! So what do you think? Well, that's all for this morning. I highly doubt I will be able to post again today so I apologize in advance if you were hoping for two cards today. However, after school this evening my sister-in-law is going to come over so that she can make some more cards! She has been hooked ever since her first one! I am excited because I enjoy watching her face light up when she realizes that she can be creative! Haha! Ok, well enjoy your day ladies! :D

Beautiful job Stephanie! I love your use of those awesome colors along with the clean layout. The inside of the card is just as great as the front.
