Hello

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic evening yesterday! I wanted to share this card with you today. I made it sometime last week for the Bellariffic Friday. This card uses a cute little ChiChibouile from Stamping Bella. I colored her with my Stampin' Write Markers and added glitter to her wings. I used my Basic Grey Wisteria paper and combined it with my Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, and Brocade Blue card stock. I used Soft Suede ribbon and rhinestones to embellish the card too! The sentiment is actually a sticker that I received in the maile but I thought it fit the card perfectly!

Well, that's it for today's post! I slept wonderfully last night with my husband! It was such a great feeling! I made homemade pizza for him and we watched Seven Brides For Seven Brothers together. It was a great evening. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to have him back home! Today I have lots that I want to get done though. I have already been able to get laundry done and pick up my husband's stuff from his trip so I am feeling pretty good! Enjoy your Tuesday!

Friend to Friend

I just love the brightness of this card! It makes me smile! :D The colors are actually almost all new In Colors. The only extra color that is thrown in there is the Pumpkin Pie. Besides that you have your Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, and Crushed Curry. I used the flower image from the Unity June KOTM. I think this image might just be my favorite in the set! It's so pretty! Anyway, the designer paper that is used is the new Stampin' Up! Razzleberry Lemonade dsp and it has been paired with some Melon Mambo ribbon and yellow dew drops. I paper pierced the corners of the image panel and colored the flowers with my Stampin' Write Markers. I actually created this card over a week ago for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoast but I am just now getting around to posting it! :) I guess that's really all there is to say about this card but if you have any questions let me know!

On a side note, my handsome hubby gets home today! I am so excited to see him and I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I don't have to sleep alone again tonight! :) I have spent today making sure the house is cleaned and picked up as well as baking up a storm! He will not be a hungry man when he's home, that's for sure! Well, that's it for my ramblings this afternoon! Take care and stop back tomorrow for yet another card!

Psst...I've been hiding a secret! :)

Last week I decided to take a chance and try out for the Jacksonbelle Embellishment design team. To be honest, I didn't think I stood a chance. There are so many women out there who are far more talented than me! Well guess what, within 24 hours I received an email saying that they would love to have me! Oh my word was I stoked! I literally screamed and called my husband (who, of course, couldn't pick up at the time), and then my mom! Haha! I felt like a little school girl but, to be honest, I didn't care!

Here are the girls who are joining me on this fabulous quest!

Kristine Breach ~ Ink Something

Tobi Crawford ~ Tobi’s Place

Dawn Easton ~ Treasure Oiler Designz

Mitzi Koons ~ Stamps Jubilee

Loretta Lock ~ Love to Create

Jimmi Mayo ~ Stamping & Shopping

Bethany Paull ~ It’s Not All Black & White

Michelle Phillipi ~ Inside My Own Private Idaho

Carly Robertson ~ Paper in Bloom

Shemaine Smith ~ Scraptastic

And we will be joining these fabulous ladies:

Lynda Benden: Stamp Act

Melissa Bove: Keepsakes By Melissa

Jennifer Buck: The Buck Stamps Here

Jill Dunn: Ink Genious

AJ Otto: The Willow Garden

Heather Lee-Reppen: Ink on my Ear

Anyway, I just wanted to share this fabulous news with all of you! I am SUPER excited and can't wait to share my creations with you! If you tried out for the team, and didn't make it, trust me, I've been there. But, I want to tell you not to give up! I have been denied MANY times and decided on a whim to try it again. Obviously the results were worth the risk! The same will happen to you someday! I guarantee it.

You're Amazing!

Don't you just LOVE this cute image! She is called Cowgirl Ava and just by buying her you can donate money to the Weiman family. She was created by Pink Cat Studios and is a digital stamp. If you want to hear about the journey they went through with their son Ethan, go to their site. It is one that you will need a tissue for.

Well, after purchasing these images I couldn't wait to use them so I immediately printed them and colored them! I wanted to use one of the Verve release sketches so I pulled out this one. The sentiment fit the sketch perfectly too so of course I HAD to use it! :D The paper I used is Cosmo Cricket's Sugared design. I then colored in little Cowgirl Ava with my Stampin' Write markers. As a final touch I decided to add some Sage Shadow ribbon (which matched PERFECTLY) and some ivory pearls. Overall I think this card turned out to be super cute but I have to give most of the credit to the adorable image! :D

Well, that's it for today's post! I am having a wonderful Sunday and am SUPER STOKED for my hubby to get home tomorrow! Until then I am going to use today for my last chance at "me time". I may take a nap and watch a movie, we will just have to see! I will be back with another card tomorrow though so don't miss it! :D

Sweet Unity

I wanted to share this card that I created for Wednesday's SCS sketch challenge. I used my new Unity Kit of the Month and Cosmo Cricket Early Bird paper. I colored the ice cream cone with my Stampin' Write markers and then added crystal effects for a glossier look. I then popped it up with dimensionals. The ribbon is real red and the brads are not quite navy.

Well, that's it for today's post. It's been a pretty good week but I have definitely been missing my husband. Sleeping has not been the easiest thing. I have finally picked up some tricks that have helped. However, I am SO ready for him to be home that it's not even funny. I don't know how women whose husbands are in the military do it. They are amazing women, to say the least! :)

Bella Birthday Blog Skip, Hop & Dance!

Welcome to the Birthday Blog Skip, Hop & Dance sponsored by Stamping Bella! If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella.

For my card I used Partygirlabella! Isn't she fabulous? This is the image that got me hooked on Bella stamps in the first place. I saw her on Splitcoast and decided I needed her! :D Anyway, since she was a little too big for my image panel I cut off the top and restamped the balloons so that I could pop them up. I think it creates a neat look! To even out the image I also popped up the cupcake. I colored her with my Stampin' Write Markers and used this My Mind's Eye paper for my color pallett. For the finishing touches I used some Certainly Celery ribbon and blue rhinestones. The sentiment is actually a sticker that I recieved in the mail from some magazine company but it fits perfectly! The sketch I used is this past week's SCS Bella sketch.

Well, that's all I have for this post! I get to spend some time with my friend Leanne today! :D Thanks so much for stopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Colleen Wold. She's your last stop! Have a great day!

How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $40 Gift Voucher to Stamping Bella!!! The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!! We will announce the winner on Monday in the Splitcoast forum.

Welcome, little cutie.

Good afternoon everyone! Here is a card that I made yesterday using my new digi stamp that I bought over at Paper Makeup Stamps! Isn't it beautiful? The best part about this image is that all of the proceeds go to a family who just recently lost their baby girl. It's a very sad story but one that should be read because of how positive the parents are through this very difficult time. You can hear more about their story here. It definitely changed my outlook on life. Their faith in the Lord is unbelievable!

Anyway, I colored the image with my Stampin' Write markers. I am not too thrilled with how it turned out but I seriously feel that the image makes up for my lack of coloring skills! :) I also tried covering up my coloring by applying some glitter with my glitter pen. I paired it with some Basic Grey Urban Prairie dp and was surprised at how well it matched the new Stampin' Up! In Colors. Bermuda Blue, Crushed Curry, and Melon Mambo can all be found in this fantastic paper! I embellished the card by coloring on some paper flowers and attatching them with dimensionals. I then added the sentiment (from Nursery Necessities) along with some ribbon and rhinestones.

Well, that's it for now. I will be back tomorrow with a Bella card. You won't want to miss the blog hop that is taking place for Emily's birthday! :D

Be Prepared...

For some horrible pictures! I just realized that my husband took that good camera which means I am stuck with one that takes really awful pictures! I am not kidding when I say I took 30 pictures of this card and didn't like one of them! I finally settled for this one after I poked and prodded it for 15 minutes. I seriously did so much adjusting that I wanted to scream! What's really sad is that I really love this card and the picture doesn't do it justice.

Anyway, I created this card for the Lizzie Anne Designs sketch challenge. I haven't been able to participate in one of these challenges in FOREVER so I decided it was time. I pulled out my much neglected cupcake image and went to work! :D I paired this sweet (pun intended) with some brand new SU! paper as well as some pumpkin pie ribbon and brads. For the finishing touch I also added some Stickles.

Well, that's it for tonight! I am going to bed but I promise to share more tomorrow!

Here For You

Well, I will be husband-less for a week which means I have LOTS of time to stamp and clean! :D I am really going to miss him but at the same time I know it will be some much need "me" time. I have already made a few cards using some of my new SU! products and I can't wait to share them with you!

Now on to today's card! I made this card a little while back and completely forgot to show it on here. This is one I made for an older SCS sketch challenge. I decided to pull out some Stampin' Up! paper that will be retiring this month and pair it with my flower dies and Friends 24-7 set. I really do love this set and finally got around to purchasing it. You can expect to see it featured on more of my cards in the near future!

Well, that's really about it for this card. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I am off to dust (yuck)! Take care!

TECC73 Happy Birthday Human!

Before I start I want to apologize for the not-so-great picture. My photo tent is still unavailable due to the fact that my SIL and BIL are still in there. However, they are headed out today (sadly) and so I should be able to take some better pictures later! :)

For this card I used my brand new Stampin' Up! sneak peek set called "Lots of Bots". It is one that I fell in love with right away! It's so cute! The sentiments and images are just perfect together too! (Just a little background info about myself: I am a HUGE fan of movies like Transformers, Iron Man, and Wall-E! :D) Anyway, this post is going to remain fairly short today since I have TONS of cleaning to do!

Make sure you stop by Taylor's blog to see her card. I can't wait to see what you create with this week's sketch! Also, make sure to check out this week's featured sampler: Rachel Sztonyk!

Want to see more? Sure you do! Make sure you check out the rest of the fabulous Cupcake Samplers! They're sure to be great!

Phew! I Have Time to Breathe! :)

Life has been really hectic this weekend since Nick's family is visiting! Now don't get me wrong, we LOVE having them here, it just doesn't leave room for our normal life and routine. However, they decided to spend today at the Royal Gorge and so I have the house to myself which means I can get some work done and update my blogs! Yippee! :D

Anyway, today's card is one I made a few days ago. I wanted to participate in the Viva la Verve sketch with a twist so I did! This sketch required us to use 3 different stamp sets, 3 different embellishments, and 3 different colors of card stock! I was able to complete this card fairly easily so I was happy about that! All the stamps used were Verve and the paper used is from Stampin' Up!'s Urban Garden dsp. I love the finished look of this card and I hope you do too!

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you are interested in seeing some pictures that I took from our family visit, make sure to stop by my other blog! We have had some really neat experiences! :D

TECC72: Happy Birthday Taylor!

Today is Taylor's birthday! Happy Birthday! :D For today's sketch we decided to make birthday cards for the birthday girl! I would have had mine posted on time but we have been having internet issues. Nick's family is also here visiting and so I have been playing with the kids too! That is also the reason why I had to take my picture outside. My photo tent is in the bedroom where they are sleeping. Anyway, I was finally able to get on my blog to share my card with you! I hope you like it! :) It's almost all Stampin' Up! but I had to use my nesties for the half circles. Oh well!

Make sure you stop by Taylor's blog to wish her a Happy Birthday AND to see her card. I can't wait to see what you create with this week's sketch! Also, make sure to check out this week's featured sampler: Bonnie Sharp!

Want to see more? Sure you do! Make sure you check out the rest of the fabulous Cupcake Samplers! They're sure to be great!

It's a Boy! :)

Well, my great friend Leanne is currently in labor so I can officially post this card without her seeing it! :D I made it for her so that I could have it ready as soon as this little baby boy arrived! I haven't heard from her husband yet so I am assuming she's still in labor, I will keep you posted though! :)

Anyway, I used Laurie's weekend sketch for this card and really like how it turned out! I don't like how hard the sentiment is to read but oh well, I am sure Leanne will appreciate it! :D

Well, it's late and I am exhausted so it's off to beddy bye time for me! Have a great night

Two Days In A Row! :D

I know, I know, I'm just shocked as you are! :D It's been weeks since I have posted twice in a week let alone twice in a weekend! Never fear though, I had LOTS of time to get creative yesterday and so I made a bunch of pretty cards! Yippee!

I created this particular card for yesterday's limited supplies challenge which required us to only have one layer and the card needed a summer theme. This fits the challenge pretty well don't you think? It took me all of like 10 minutes to throw together and that included deciding which stamp set and colors to use! :D I used my brand new (which is soon to be dormant) set called Wonderful Watercolors and I can't get over how fabulous it is! I can see it becoming a quick favorite already!

Now before you start feeling spoiled, I am going to keep this post fairly short due to the fact that I don't want my husband to start feeling neglected all at once. I have to break him in slowly! ;) Hehe. We are actually hoping to get some work done in our garden (even though we are having some seriously strong wind issues today) so I need to concentrate on that. We have our garden planted but there is not a critter fence around it yet and we have a friendly neighborhood bunny who is showing a lot of interest in my plants! If you want to stay updated on our garden/yard progress, be sure to check out my other blog called 320 Days of Sunshine!

TECC71 With a Sneak Peek!

Good morning everyone! How are you all doing on this lovely Friday? Have you missed me? I have certainly missed my creativity! It has been gone for quite some time. Actually, things have been crazy busy around here and I am finally starting to feel settled in again. Nick and I went to Steamboat Springs for a few days and we got back yesterday afternoon. We had such a fantastic time together but it was nice to come home and get stuff done! :D I officially have all of my laundry finished AND my gardens put together! Yippee!

Anyway, I have a fun card for you today using Taylor's Cupcake Sketch Challenge. This week's sketch is a fun one! It really has a lot of possibilities and what I love the most about it is that it allows for you to showcase some fabulous designer paper! Now since we all know that the new Stampin' Up! catalog is about to be released we also know that the old In Colors are going to disappear. :( Now as sad as that makes me, I know that I need to make room for the NEW In Colors so I am going to be using a lot of my In Color dp and embellishments up (that's your warning...hehe)!

Well, does anyone notice the fabulous image and sentiment on my card? If not, you might want to check your eyes! :D The cupcake and sentiment I used is actually from one of Taylor's new sets called "For the Love of Cupcakes" that she is releasing TODAY at her store! If you know Taylor then you obviously know that she is one of the most generous woman you will probably ever meet. She wanted to include the sketch samplers in this month's release by having us use one of the new images on our cards! Isn't that amazing? I was THRILLED to get to play with these images and I am sure you will be too! Make sure you stop by her blog to not only see this week's sketch but the new releases as well! She will knock your socks off for sure! You will also want to check out this week's featured sampler who is Barb Foster! She is truly talented!

Want to see more? Sure you do! Make sure you check out the rest of the fabulous Cupcake Samplers! They're sure to be great!
