My First Get Well Card!

Can you believe I have never made a get well card before today? I couldn't believe it. I discovered that today when I was searching for one to give to a girl in our youth group. She had an appendicitis this week and is in a lot of pain. I just hate to see my girls suffer! :( Anyway, Beate posted this week's sketch challenge today so I decided to make it a get well card. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. This image is, again, from the Fun & Fast notes and I think it is such a pretty image. I also like how easilly you can put it with any dsp. For this card I stamped the image with StazOn ink and then watercolored it using my SU! markers and my blender pen. I am so glad I have finally found a good and easy way to watercolor. It took me awhile to figure out. The aquapainter is another good way but it's so much harder to move the ink where I want. It just seems to seep everywhere! After I had finished putting the main card together I decided to stamp the sentiment on some ruby red cardstock and then punch it out with my word window punch (I love that punch). I then popped the image and the sentiment up on some dimensionals. I am pleased with the final product. Thanks for the great sketch Beate! Keep them coming! WE LOVE THEM! :D

Recipe:
Stamps: Fun & Fast Notes
Paper: Naturals Ivory, Watercolor, Ginger Blossom dsp, Mellow Moss, Ruby Red, Cameo Coral
Ink: Black StazOn
Accessories: SU! Markers, Blender Pens, Ribbon, Dimensionals, Word Window Punch
