Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #43

Good evening everyone!I'm back with a fresh creation! :D I made this card for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I really like doing her challenge on Friday's when it's posted but, as I mentioned yesterday, stamping didn't happen for me. So, I decided I would do it today! I really struggled with this sketch for some reason. It was difficult for me because I wasn't sure if we were allowed a layer above the bottom piece and since I try and follow the sketch as closely as possible, I didn't want anything in that space. I pulled out my new A Little Bit of Happiness (hostess) set since it is one I hadn't used yet! Let me just tell you that I love this set! I have no clue why I haven't used it yet! It is so cute and versatile! You can color the image any way you would like and you can pick any piece of the image if you don't want to use all of it! For my image I decided to cut it into two pieces so that my card
would have a little more dimension. I like how it turned out! I have noticed that Old Olive has been on a lot of my cards lately! I think that is because it is a color in almost all of the dsp I have! I don't mind though, it is a great color! For this card I decided to use my Summer Picnic dsp. I hadn't had the chance to use the big flowered paper yet so I put it on my card. I also hadn't used my soft subtles brats either so on they went too! I do have to admit that the ribbon isn't SU! I don't have much SU! ribbon yet so I have to use some of the other stuff. I do like SU!'s ribbon better than any ribbon I have tried yet but I just don't have it in all of the colors! Oh well, enough of my whining, here is the card!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your Saturday evening with your loved ones and make sure to stop by tomorrow for some more fresh cards! :D
