A Favorite Summer Activity: Fishing!

Today's Limited Supplies challenge over on Splitcoast was to make a card that displays one of our favorite summertime activities and fishing is definitely at the top of my list! During the summers my family would go fishing every chance we got! Our grandpa had a farm with a HUGE pond and it was FULL of fish! It was always such a blast to go and we just loved the family times spent there! Anyway, I was so thankful for this image when I saw today's challenge. However, just because I had the perfect stamp did not mean the challenge was easy! The rest of the challenge requirements were as follows: only 3 layers, no dp, and limited embellishments! YIKES! Only 3 layers???? No dp??? I was stumped for the longest time but I really like how my card turned out. In fact, I love it! It's clean and simple. I also was excited because I discovered a way to use this Verve sentiment! It was a Duh moment! Of course I can use the phrase "you rock my world" with a boat image! Hehe! My husband liked this card too. He likes any card with Riley on it though. My husband has a slight addiction with moose! It's funny really. For his birthday his mom and dad got him an ADORABLE candy dish with a moose on it! I absolutely love it too! Anyway, that's all for now. I hope that everyone is enjoying their evening. Nick and I went out for pizza with some of the kids in our youth group and we are getting ready to watch a movie now! Have a TERRIFIC night!
