A Birthday Card For Josh!

Hello everyone! How was your Thursday? Mine was really fun, yet tiring! We went on a field trip to the zoo today! :D I honestly can't remember the last time I was at the zoo. I think I was in like 4th grade. Anyway, Leanne (my teaching partner & great friend) and we assigned ALL of our students to the parent volunteers so that we could skip around from group to group so we got to hang out and talk ALL day. It was a blast. We spent time with the kids, took some fun pictures, and just had a good time. It's really nice having a teaching partner who is so awesome! Love ya Leanne! :D Anyway, I will share some pictures from that later this evening. I also want to share a scary story with all of you. Tune in for that and another card. First, however, I need to talk about THIS card! I made this card for a friend's birthday. I hope it isn't too kiddish. I really wanted to use Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge, today's SCS Limited Supplies Challenge (to use chipboard), and Jen Tapler's Stampin' Out Alzheimer Challenge #1 (to make a boy card). This is how it turned out. Let me know what you think! I have had these chipboard letters for quite a while now. In fact, I can't even remember exactly where or how I got them. I just have them! Haha. I also wanted to use my new bashful blue dsp from the Prints Pack that I got as my free SU! gift. I am pretty pleased with how this card turned out. Do you think it looks off balanced? Thanks for stopping by! I would love to hear from you. Drop me a comment if you would like!

What a great card!
The colour combination is awesome, I might have to use it myself since I am completely out of boys cards. Have a great weekend!
