I made this card for today's gorgeous color challenge over on Splitcoast. For today's challenge we were required to use So Saffron, Almost Amethyst and Wild Wasabi! No, I don't have any Wild Wasabi cardstock or ink but I luckily got some Wild Wasabi dp in my prints pack so I could finally play! :) I just love how this card turned out! I wanted to keep it simple since the colors could be a little much if you didn't use them right and I really like how it turned out. I tend to use this layout a lot when I am trying to stay simple and I think it just works great! This gorgeous ribbon was given to me by Danielle Lounds! The ribbon is a little darker than Almost Amethyst but the stitching on it is almost the exact same color! The only thing I don't like about this card is the fact that I wish I wouldn't have paper pierced under the sentiment but I can't go back and change it now! If you have any questions let me know! :D Oh, I almost forgot! I got my SU! order today and in it was my new Sock Monkey set which doesn't come out until the new catalog (August)! That's just another one of the perks of being a SU! demo. Anyway, that's where the sentiment comes from. I will show you some more sneak peaks from it tomorrow!
Recipe:
Stamps: Stitched Exotics, Sock Monkey
Paper: Whisper White, So Saffron, Prints Pack dsp
Ink: Almost Amethyst
Accessories: Paper Piercer, Ribbon, Dimensionals, Build-a-brad

Beautiful colors on your simple but lovely card. Color does so much for our cards, don't they?
Thanks for all of your examples. I try and visit your blog a number of times each week.
