Just Trying to Keep Busy...

Satan is hitting me below the belt today and I am doing all I can to stay encouraged. I hate how he does this to me. I have such a wonderful weekend full of so many blessings and he just starts tearing me down little by little. If you could say a little prayer for me I would greatly appreciate it. I have been doing everything in my power to stay busy so that I can get my mind off of my discouragements. Anyway, I wish I had a card with scripture on it to share but I don't so I will have to create one later this evening. Until then I do want to share this card with you. I made it a while ago for VSN and Mercy's sketch challenge and I just love how it turned out! I used my much neglected Crazy For Cupcakes stamp set and my Sweet Slumber Specialty dsp. I also used my new So Saffron ribbon that you can get free through Sale-a-bration! The image was watercolored with my blender pen and reinkers. I then added some crystal effects to the sprinkles and flame. I hope you all enjoy your evening. I have Bible study tonight so I should be able to get my heart back on track (I hope)! Thanks for all of your wonderful support!

Keep your chin up Steph, prayers are headed your way. Though there isn't scripture on the card, it sends a cheery message filled with blessings. Remember, God won't send it if He doesn't think you can handle it.

Steph,

Always trust in God, He will never leave you. I am also a pastor's wife and have had alot of struggles and Satan always tries to get us down. I KNOW that God will be faithful. I will keep you in my prayers. If you need to talk I don't mind if you email me personally. Your sister in Christ, Kathy W

hold on tight Steph! This too shall pass and God will be victorious in this battle you are facing today. I can't tell you how many times I've faced and danced with Satan over this past year and a half. Believing the lies. But God, who is faithful, just kept draggin' my butt back to safety! He'll do the same for you!
Hugs!

steph...this is a wonderful card! thanks for playing along with the sketch again...you've done an amazing job!

as far as the difficulties you've been having, it's always important to remember that Satan doesn't want anything to do with you unless you are making a difference for the Lord and His Kingdom. keep the faith and fight the good fight...we know how the story ends!

Steph,
You're such an inspiration to me, and I'm sure to many others, with not only you're beautiful creations but also you're testimony for Christ. You're in my thoughts and prayers. A verse that has been close to my heart and has brought me through alot is Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Hang in there and know God is with you and cares for you like no other. Today's card was another beautiful creation. :)
Hugs & Prayers, Sheila

Stamping always gets me through those bumpy times. Hope it helps you, too. Hang in there - it's always darkest before the dawn. This card is adorable. I love the gentle colors.
