This is a picture of the gorgeous church across the street from us. It had only been snowing for about 10 min. when I took this picture. It is coming down hard and fast! The crazy thing was that only a half hour before it started snowing I had to turn the heat down because Leanne (who was visiting) and I were starting too cook from the sunlight streaming in! Once that snow started to snow, we knew it wasn't going to stop for quite a while so poor Leanne had to leave right away so that she could get her errands run AND make it back home before the roads got bad. I certainly hope she made it alright! :) I am also starting to get worried because my hubby and my brother went snowboarding today and I am sure the roads between here and Monarch are going to be covered.
Anyway, on to the card.
So what do you think? Isn't that Spring image adorable? And what better day to post a Spring card than on a day it is snowing like crazy! Haha! I seriously didn't plan it that way! :) This image is from the new SASI set called "A Year of Sweets 2". This is definitely one of my favorite images yet! Anyway, I colored it using my Crayola pencils and OMS. I also added some crystal effects to the flowers and butterly as well as a Zva Creative crystals for the cherry and under the sentiment! The sentiment is one from another new SASI set called "A Year of Sweet Sentiments". I used last Saturday's OCC sketch challenge and paired it with my brand new SU! Raspberry Tart paper! Isn't it amazing??? I love the colors in it! They are so bright and vibrant. I also ran the Kiwi Kiss background through my Big Shot with my Swiss Dots cb folder. Well, I guess that about covers it for this card. Have a great Friday! I have been cleaning most of the day (aside from the hour or two that Leanne was here) and am ready to stamp! :D
OH! Before I forget, I have an anouncement (stolen from Donna's blog)!

Cute card Steph! I had a great time chatting with you today! I had to scrape my back window when I came out of the post office....I can't believe how fast it is coming down! I think I might have to get out my watercolor pencils tonight and see what I can come up with. I love your coloring:)

I love this card, Steph. It's adorable. And what a better time to think Spring than in the middle of winter with 2 ft of snow on the ground!
