A Little Late...

Ok, this card is a little late but I honestly kept forgetting about it! Anyway, I made it for Jen's Sketch For You To Try from two Saturdays ago! Whoops! Haha! I still need to make this last Saturday's sketch challenge card too! Either way, I love how it turned out (even though my camera wasn't working with it) and thought it was a good one to show you! The best part of this card was how easy it was to make. I hardly had to do any stamping at all! I just stamped "birthday wishes" in versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then cute that little piece out and glued it on the gorgeous ribbon! The rest of this card is paper from the fantastic SU! Urban Garden dsp. Is anyone else relieved that this paper is not retiring yet? Ok...I'm off subject...back to the card! I thought my card was actually finished until I stuck my hat pin in the ribbon and added some pearls. Then I knew it was complete! Hehe! Well, That sums it up for this card. Easy peasy huh? Have a terrific night! I am off to beddy-bye! :D

P.S. Is anyone honestly missing my card recipes that I used to always post? I have stopped doing them out of curiosity and no one has said anything! Hehe! If you would like me to start doing them again, I can! Let me know! :D

hi Steph! love this card :)

re: your card recipes. the reason it's not an issue for me is because you often note special recipe items in your write-up. like today, you noted the SU urban garden paper. and yesterday, you noted the Verve stamps. thanks for checking in tho!

This card is gorgeous!

As for recipes: I personally don't miss them because I usually know by looking what they are. I keep recipes on my posts in case less experienced crafters view my blog and want to know because I have found many people are too shy to send an email and find out.

So super cute!! I am LOVING that paper!!! I stopped putting the recipes on mine too because I list all the supplies in the body of my post, so I just don't feel the need to repeat myself. kwim??

This is gorgeous Steph! I agree with everyone else-if you talk about it in your post you really don't need a recipe.

Beautiful card, Steph. I miss your recipes...unless you mention everything in your description. Just something to go on as far as stamp sets, colors, paper, extras, etc.
