Go Out On a Limb

Good Monday morning! Is it seriously Monday already? Wow does the time fly! Anyway, I spent all afternoon yesterday, stamping so I could have cards to share this week. Hopefully they last me awhile! This is the first card I made. It is for last Wednesday's SCS sketch challenge. I wanted to use my new There She Goes stamps so I pulled this fabulous set called "Branching Out". What I love about this set is how you can build your own tree! How fun is that? For the paper I used my Hawaii Papaya dsp and then pulled the color combination from it. In order to get the ribbon to only wrap around part of the card, I used my exacto knife to slice through the card front. I did it this way because in the sketch the stripes don't go all the way across. I also added crystal effects to my leaves for some added dimension. I actually really like how this card turned out. It is such a clean and fun card. Well, I guess that's all I have for now! I have to get ready to teach! Have a fantastic day everyone!

Recipe:
Stamps: There She Goes (Branching Out)
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip, Hawaii Papaya dsp
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss
Accessories: Ribbon, Crystal Effects, Dimensionals
