A Tangerine Birthday!

Good morning ladies! How are you on this lovely day? I am doing exceptionally well! I woke up early this morning with my hubby and got ready for my day so now I am rearing to go! :) I will be working in my classroom again today. I have most everything done but there are still some things that I would like to do. Anyway, yesterday Leanne and I had a blast making cards together. I got 3 done and will share those with you later. I did manage to get yesterday's SCS sketch challenge completed but I didn't have time to get it posted. I will try to do that later this morning after I get done tutoring. The card I am sharing with you this morning is one that I absolutely love! I found this fabulous color combination in the new SU! catalog and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out! I pulled my gorgeous Stitched Exotics set out and stamped the fun flower in Tangerine Tango. I then cut it out with my SU! Paper Snips, added some bling to the center, and popped it up on a dimensionals. I paper pierced along the bottom and part of the top, used some fantastic Old Olive ribbon and then stamped Happy Birthday in between the paper piercing at the top of the card. The sentiment was actually a last minute thing and I think it was the perfect touch. I am shocked at how well it fit between my paper piercing. I did use one of the Anni-Verve-sary sketches for this card but I left off one minor half circle. I like the way this card turned out! Let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by!
